Carbon Cleaning

At Mark Sawkins Automotive, we offer a carbon cleaning service at our workshop in Willington.

Our carbon cleaning procedure will remove the sooty carbon deposits from the inside of your car’s engine. Our technicians inject a formula into the engine which burns at an incredibly high temperature and removes the carbon – you can see the soot coming out of the exhaust pipe.

There are a couple of things that you can do to keep carbon build-up to a minimum:

1. Have your car serviced regularly at Mark Sawkins Automotive
2. Every now and again, drive your car in the higher rev regions (don’t go crazy!) so that the engine reaches the required high temperatures to burn out the soot.
